It’s no secret: we love food.
And we love heated benches. Luckily, The Lot in Bend offers both. Plus, they’ve got beer and cider on tap, host live music and open mic night, and it’s all just deliciously awesome.
What is The Lot? According to their Facebook page:
Bend’s favorite locals hangout. Food carts, 16 taps, open air covered eating structure, built in tables and benches, fire pit…hip, cool, fun atmosphere.
The food line-up changes every now and then, offering a nice burst of local flavor with each new cart added. And, then there’s this…
This bench is pretty much life changing. Seriously.
It’s heated, so you get just the right amount of cozy when sitting outside in chillier Bend temps. [#gamechanger]
The cool thing about these sweet, delicious Food Carts, is that they’re popping up in several places in town, both parked and mobile locations.
Where to find a food cart:
Located next to the Fred Real Estate Group office at Century Center, we’re lucky to have The Bend Soup Company and at its new-ish home in the Goodlife Brewing Biergarten (also at Century Center), Big Ski’s Pierogis.
The Brown Owl, another locals fave, opened up a brick and mortar spot in The Box Factory (formerly known as the Old Mill Marketplace). They’re still cooking from their mobile kitchen, but you can sit inside (or out) and enjoy their food and full bar. It’s kinda great.
This is by no means the full list of offerings! With increasing popularity around town, a new cart seems to appear weekly, which is great news for us as we eat out. A lot.
